This Decree establishes to set up expert advisory council on safety of GMO organisms subordinated to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection performing the following functions: (a) state expertise of GMO; (b) examination of conclusions of state expertise on biosafety of GMO; and (c) issuance of recommendations on permissibility of release of GMO organisms to environment for testing or use business and economic purposes.
