This Decree exempts animals listed in Schedule 1 to this Decree and other specified categories of animals from prohibitions laid down in sections 8, 9, 11 and 13 of the Flora and Fauna Act. The provisions of this Decree laid down in Chapter II (exemptions) do not apply to animals listed in Council Regulation (EEC) No. 338/97 on the protection of species of wild fauna and flora by regulating trade therein.
