This Decree applies to fishing by Norwegian vessels in ICES statistics areas VIb, VII, VIII, IX, X, XII, XIVb. Vessels which intend to fish in these areas shall report to the Directorate of Fisheries for registration (sect. 2). In accordance with section 3, vessels shall notify also: entry, weekly catch and days of fishing, and exit from the area.
