This Decree, composed of eight articles and one Annex, approves the National Policy on medicinal plants. The Policy, regulated in the Annex, aims at granting safe access to and rational use of medical plants promoting also a sustainable use of biodiversity and the development of national industry. Moreover, it seeks to increase the therapeutic opportunities to users. The Policy document provides implementation guidelines, monitoring and evaluation procedures.
