This Decree approves the Regulation on Bio-Safety related to Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO). This Regulation, consisting of 9 Chapters and 2 Tables, aims to regulate import/export, transport, production, manipulation and use of GMO and their products originated by biotechnology in order to guarantee the protection of environment, biological diversity and human health.
