The Decree relative to trade in seed and planting materials for cultivation of 1997 and various other regulations based on the Plant Propagation Materials Act are amended in order to provide for the fusion between two plant inspection services, the NAKB and the NAKG into one service called Naktuinbouw and to implement various EC Directives regarding genetically modified materials, trade in seeds, and the list of plant species.
