Decree No. 7 of the State Committee of Standardization, Metrology and Certification on labelling of foodstuffs.

President of the Committee decrees to establish that expiry date of foodstuffs shall be determined by manufacturer in conformity with regulations set by the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Agriculture. Beginning from 1 January 2000, trade of foodstuffs without information on expiry date on packages and labels shall be prohibited.
