This Decree endorses the Ministry of Aquatic Resources with the registration of fishing gear and involved crewmen, granting permission for the exploitation of the aquatic resources; furthermore the aforesaid Ministry will be responsible for inspections and safety certification of the fishing gear used; it will be also responsible overall for the safety of canals and waterways , the institution of alert signals for critical weather conditions.
