This Decree establishes the modalities of compilation, submittal and examination of application for the issuance of patent for selection achievement. Patent for selection achievements, ensuring legal protection thereof, shall be issued in compliance with the following criteria: (a) newness; (b) distinguishability; (c) homogeneity; and (d) stability.
