This Decree provides rules regarding mainly the conservation of genetic resources of protected autochthonous farm animal species. The conservation shall be implemented through breeding programs which shall be prepared taking into account the level of endangeredness of the given species. Article 3 lays down rules regarding the recognition of associations or unions as breeding organization. Article 4 concerns control of implementation of breeding programs.
