Decree to prohibit, until further notice, the importation of peanuts originating or sent from Egypt (No. 686 of 1999).

This Order, made by the State Food Control Agency, prohibits the importation of whole peanuts with or without hull and roasted peanuts originating or exported from Egypt. Importation and/or marketing of such nuts is allowed only if the shipment has been cleaned or if it is clearly indicated on the packing that the shipment must be cleaned in order to be fit for human consumption.
