This Decree applies to Norwegian and foreign vessels of any type which fish for commercial purposes including vessels which provide assistance to the fisheries fleet and exploration vessels and vessels used for experimental fishing. Fishing for red fish is prohibited in the territorial waters and inner waters of Svalbard.
