Article 1 of this Directive lays down some amendments and addenda to Directive 79/373/EEC, whilst article 2 repeals Directive 91/357/EEC. The amendments to the former concern labelling and packaging requirements as regards compound feedingstuffs destined to be marketed within the Community. In accordance with new article 15a, the Commission shall submit a report to the European Parliament and to the Council, by 6 November 2006 at the latest, on the implementation of the measures introduced.

Member States shall adopt and publish not later than 6 March 2003 the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive.
