With this Directive, the Director of Fisheries, in accordance with section 30 of Decree No. 1664 of 2005 to regulate fishing for cod, haddock, coalfish north of 62° N in 2006, effectively closes the season for fishing for coalfish for vessels fishing with seine. An exemption is made for vessels that have not reached an established fishing quota. Infringement of this Directive shall be punished in accordance with section 53 of the Sea-water Fisheries Act of 1983. (3 sections)
