This Order provides for the certification of any animal of the equine species being imported from or exported to another Member State. A person may not export a horse from the State to another Member State unless and until it is accompanied by an animal health certificate in accordance with the model in Annex C of Council Directive 90/426/EEC. A person may not import a horse into the State from another Member State unless and until it is accompanied by an animal health certificate in accordance with the model in Annex C of Council Directive 90/426/EEC.
