Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (Goat Identification) Order 2006 (S.I. No. 79 of 2006).

This Order provides for the identification by ear-tag of goats in accordance with the European Communities (Goat Identification) Regulations 2005. The Regulations provide for the implementation of a goat identification system as required by Council Regulation (EC) No. 21/2004. A goat, being over six months of age, shall have an ear-tag approved under the Regulations attached to each of its ears.
