This Order amends the Diseases of Animals (Carriage of Cattle by Sea) Order, 1996 in respect of transportation of livestock by vessels with a roll period of less than 15 seconds. It specifies conditions for the undertaking of a voyage by sea in certain circumstances. Certain additional requirements applicable to all vessels are also specified in the Order.
