The Law sets out measures to control the rabies virus that may be included in an Order, made under the Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Law 1956, declaring areas to be infected with rabies. Such Order may include provision for the destruction in such an area, by persons authorized in accordance with the Order, of such wild animals (not being animals held in captivity) as may be prescribed by the Order.
