This Act makes provision with respect to distress for the recovery of any rent or rent service in arrear and due upon a grant, lease, demise or contract. This Act shall apply also to lease of any land used for agricultural or pastoral purposes. One of the remedies available to the creditor is to instruct a licensed auctioneer to seize and secure any stock or crops loose and not attached to the land under lease.
