This Law implements Directive 2005/32/EC establishing a framework for the setting of ecodesign requirements for energy-using products. In particular, the law sets forth the requirements for refrigerators, freezers for industrial and domestic use, as defined in Annex I to this law, and shall be referred to as refrigeration appliances.
