Ecological Doctrine of the Russian Federation determines targets, directions, tasks and principles of carrying out in the Russian Federation of common state policy in the sphere of ecology for long-term period. Ecological Doctrine is based upon the Constitution of the Russian Federation, federal laws and other normative legal acts of the Russian Federation, international agreements concluded by the Russian Federation in the sphere of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources
