The Act applies to the production, storage, preparation, importation and marketing of organic agricultural and fishery products. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries appoints a representative body for the implementation of the Act's regulations - the Organic Food Council. Authorization and approval of organic food shall be marked accordingly.
