For the purpose of this Law, “eggs” means hens eggs with nutshell suitable for direct human consumption or for utilisation in the foodstuffs industries, excluded the broken eggs, hatching eggs and also boiled eggs. The eggs will be placed into the internal market only if they satisfy the provisions of the present Law. The text sets forth distinguished categories for eggs (per quality and weight), criteria for their labelling, packaging and transportation.
