The Ordinance defines at the outset its scope of application and contains a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed, such as "egg producing plants", "treatment", "products containing eggs", etc. Article 3 prescribes general hygienic requirements for eggs and foodstuffs containing raw eggs. The marking of egg packets is set out in article 4. The Ordinance consists of 12 articles and 2 Annexes. Annex 1 outlines general and particular requirements for egg producing plants as we
