The present Act lays down provisions relating to the safety of products producing energy. The Act contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed, such as, for example, “document”, “inspector”, “Minister”, “prescribed product”. The text - consisting of 12 sections – deals with the following aspects: standards for prescribed products, labelling and packaging, inspection, offences, administration, Regulations and entry into force.
