This Order provides for the enforcement of restrictions and obligations relating to sea fishing in conventions to which Malta is a party; further it provides for infringements of such conventions to constitute an offence against the Fisheries Management and Conservation Act and to establish the applicable penalties. The Schedule lays down the list of such conventions.
