These Regulations prescribe pesticides (defined in regulation 2) to be a hazardous environmental contaminant for purposes of the Environmental Contaminants Act 1978 and regulate certain aspects of importation, placing on the market and use of pesticides. A permit to import, sell, manufacture or distribute a pesticide shall be in Form 2 of Schedule.
