This Act provides for the establishment and administration of the Environment Trust Fund and regulates its management. The assets of the Fund shall be used, among others, to pay the costs incurred to provide for environmental protection and restoration, promote sustainable development of natural resources, conserve natural resources within the Province and educate on matters relating to environmental issues and the sustainable development of natural resources (sect. 3).
