These Regulations require the carrying out of laboratory tests in accordance with good laboratory practice in compliance with Council Directive 87/18/EEC and Council Directive 88/320/EEC and designate the Irish Laboratory Accreditation Board as the Competent Authority for verifying compliance for the purposes of these Directives.
