These Regulations give effect to Community Directive 92/65/EEC laying down animal health requirements. The Regulations require any person having in his or her possession or under his or her control or a person carrying out examinations to report to Minister on infestation or a suspected infestation of small hive beetle (Aethina tumida) or Tropilaelaps mite (Tropilaelaps spp.) in bees.
