This Executive Order of the President of Liberia extends the previous Order (No. 39 of 2012), which delimits the territorial sea, internal waters, contiguous zone, exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of Liberia and defines rights of Liberia in respect of these maritime zones. the Government of Liberia shall exercise sovereign rights in the EEZ and Continental Shelf for purposes of exploiting natural resources in those areas including living natural resources.
