For the purpose of implementing the provisions of the Exotic Disease of Animals Act 1991, the Regulation states the responsibility of the Chief Veterinary Officer to undertake and assist in: (a) the diagnosis of disease in humans or animals; (b) the manufacture of vaccines; (c) some other veterinary, medical or scientific research or activity.
