This Law establishes that certification may be of two types: obligatory or voluntary. The Supreme Soviet ratified this Law in second hearing taking into account the amendments made by the President. This Law establishes the legal requirements for the obligatory and the voluntary certification of produce and service and determines the rights, the duties and liability of the components of the certification.
