These Regulations lay down specific provisions for the control and eradication of bluetongue disease. More specifically, the regulations make provisions for compulsory notification and actions to be taken where bluetongue is known or suspected; vaccination; declaration of zones and restrictions in protection and surveillance zones; information to the public; contingency plan.
