This Act concerns inspections to fish processing and fish sale establishment and spells out the rights and powers of inspectors involved in such operations. Under section 16, no person shall sell, offer for sale, or have for sale any fish intended for human consumption unless the fish is wholesome and fit for human consumption. The Act covers fish intended as any fish, including molluscs and crustaceans, and any parts, products or by-products thereof (sect. 1).
