This Act provides rules for commercial fishing and the introduction of fish into waters in Zambia. The Act consists of 25 sections which are divided into six Parts: Preliminary (I); Control of Fishing (II); Special Fishing Areas and Licenses (III); Commercial Fishing (IV); Offences and Penalties (V); General (VI).
An Act to provide for the development of commercial fishing in the Republic; to control fishing and provide for the registration of fishermen and their boats; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.
