These Regulations amend the Fisheries Regulations in; regulation 2 by adding a definition of “fixed line”; regulation 6 by inserting a new paragraph (2A) on the use of any hook with fixed fishing gear; regulation 23 on grant of a licence to use fishing lines rigged with more than 15 hooks; regulation 29 on penalties.
