The Regulations restrict demersal trawling for fish and shrimp in defined areas. Subject to these Regulations, demersal (bottom) trawling for fish or shrimp is permitted in the territorial waters of the North Coast at a distance outside off two nautical miles from that coast defined in the Schedule (reg. 3, comma 1). No trawling is permitted in the East Coast. Regulation 4 allows demersal trawling for shrimp off the South Coast, at a distance outside of two nautical miles from that coast. Regula
