This Act regulates protection of fish stocks, other aquatic animals and plants, and also fisheries. Fisheries shall be carried out by natural and legal persons in fishing areas allocated by the fishing inspection. Fishery enterprises and organizations shall carry out drainage of waterbodies, comply with fishery legislation and not exceed allocated quotas.
