The purpose of these Regulations is to ensure: (a) the safety and suitability of fish and fish products intended for export for human consumption; and (b) the integrity of certification and labelling relating to fish and fish products for export for human consumption. They set out rules relative to: (a) quality of live fish; (b) hygienic conditions of handling, processing and storage of fish and fish products; and (c) packing and labelling of fish and fish products.
