These Regulations implement for Scotland Commission Decision 2007/588/EC concerning certain protection measures against foot-and-mouth disease in the United Kingdom, by regulating the export of live animals, meat, semen, ova or embryos of animals of the bovine, ovine, caprine and porcine species and other biungulates, meat products, milk and dairy products, hides and skins and various animal products.
