These Regulations provide for the implementation of the Gene Technology Act 2001 for what concerns the licensing system for dealing with GMOs, certification, the operation of the Gene Technology Technical Advisory Committee, the Gene Technology Community Consultative Committee and of the Gene Technology Ethics Committee.
