This Decree sets limit values for sulphus content heavy fuel oil and light fuel used in Finland and the use of gas oil in vessels flying the Finnish flag. The Ministry of the Environment may grant an exception to a provision on the sulphur content of fuels on basis of section 17 of the Environmental Protection Act.
