The present Great Council Decision approves the State Treaty on the merger of the Rhine Waterway Directorates Basel and the Rhine Harbours of the Canton Basel-Landschaft into an Institute under public law with its own l legal personality under the name “Swiss Rhine Harbours (Rhine Harbour Treaty) of 20 June 2006.
