This Notice of the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, made under section 21 of the Environment Conservation Act, 1989, identifies in Schedule 1 activities that may have a detrimental effect on the environment in respect of areas included in Schedule 2, which form the Outeniqua Sensitive Coastal Area. Those activities include: disturbance of vegetation, dredging, dune stabilisation and earthworks. The Notice shall not apply to activities of a like nature carried out in the normal purs
