This Order, made under the Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Law 1956, places restrictions on the importation of poultry eggs in shell from Europe. The Order shall not apply to eggs to which the Poultry, Game and Hatching Eggs (Importation) (Jersey) Order 1958. In order to be allowed to be imported, eggs must be clean and packed in the manner prescribed and accompanied by a certificate signed by a veterinary inspector certifying that the eggs do not come from a place where affected by foot-and-mouth
