The provisions of these regulations sets forth quality standards for beans (Scarlet runner and kidney beans). This standard applies to beans of the varieties (cultivars) of Phaseolus Vulgaris L. and Phaseolus coccineus L., to be exported and for supply fresh to the consumer after preparation and packaging. Beans intended for industrial processing are not covered by the present regulations. This standard defines also the minimum quality requirements to be met by beans after preparation and packag
