The provisions of these regulations sets forth quality standards for cabbages. This standard applies to vegetables of the varieties (cultivars) of Lactuca sativa L. and Cichorium endivia L., to be exported and for supply fresh to the consumer after preparation and packaging. The aforementioned vegetables intended for industrial processing are not covered by the present regulations.
