This standard applies to vegetables of the varieties (cultivars) of Cucurbita pepo L., to be exported and for supply fresh to the consumer after preparation and packaging. Pumpkins intended for industrial processing, and pumpkins knowned as "marrows" are not covered by the present regulations.
