The provisions of the present regulations are applied in spearmint to be exported -of the varieties of Mentha viridis L. plant species- that is intended to be disposed for human consumption in fresh condition. Spearmint intended for industrial processing is excluded by the present regulations. Export is allowed provided that the final product to be placed onto the market fulfils the terms of the present text.
